About Me: I have been recently diagnosed, by coming across a Rheumatologist
who specializes in SS. Yet looking back I must have had it most
of my adult life. 15 years ago it was suggested I had ME. Then
9 yr. ago I had embolisms out of the blue. My mother died from
PE in 1953, hereditary? Now I am happier but since biopsy have
had increased symptoms and recurrent infections. I am active,
a nurse training for Social Work. I have a social conscience and
interest in urban theological perspectives. But because energy
is limited spend a lot of time resting, this is socially isolating,
but relieved by the 'net. Ii would love to share experiences.

About Me: Hi, I have been living with this for the past 10 years.
Lots of joint pain, fatigue, dryness, etc. The diagnosis has bounced
back and forth from lupus to Sjogren's. I am married with two
teenagers and a 4 year old. My hobbies include: learning how to
beat this disease through knowledge and laughter, my family and

About Me: I have had rheumatoid arhritis for 11 years and Sjogren's
for approximately 8 years. I have joint pain everyday from RA
but the dry mouth from Sjogen's is driving me crazy. I use oral
balance to help at night. I also have itchy ears and dry eyes.
I have two married daughters and four granddaughters and, of course,
my husband. I would like to e-pal with someone around my age or
younger who has RA and Sjogren's with similar problems. I love
gardening but some days it is limited. Sewing has become a problem.
I try each day to look at the bright side and am grateful for
the things I can do.
